(Dressleri x Pap Var) x Carlablackiae RA10 S1 | Select Variegated Seedlings
Introducing a select offering of 100% confirmed variegated seedlings from our (Dressleri x Pap Var) x Carlablackiae RA10 S1 cross.
Originally released as freshly harvested seeds, this batch has now developed into established young seedlings, allowing you to choose the exact plant you want rather than purchasing a seedling at random.
Every seedling in this listing is variegated, with individual plants available for selection by their assigned number. Each has developed approximately 2–5 leaves, giving collectors the opportunity to choose a seedling based on its current appearance, variegation pattern, and overall structure.
These seedlings bring together the intriguing genetics of Dressleri, variegated Papillilaminum, and Carlablackiae RA10 S1, offering exciting potential for further development as they mature.
Availability is limited to the individual seedlings currently listed. Each numbered selection represents a specific plant, so please ensure you select the number corresponding to your chosen seedling.
⸻
Mother Plant
The mother plant is a (Dressleri x Pap Var) hybrid, selected for its combination of structure and influence from both Dressleri and variegated Papillilaminum lineage.
This pairing provides an interesting genetic foundation, with the variegated mother contributing to the appeal of this cross.
⸻
Pollen Donor
The pollen donor is Carlablackiae RA10 S1, acquired from Scott Cohen during our visit to his nursery in Florida, USA.
Known for its classic Carlablackiae characteristics, balanced shape, and dark tones, it brings another desirable genetic influence to this pairing.
⸻
Current Growing Conditions
All seedlings are currently growing in moss and have developed approximately 2–5 leaves. They are approaching the stage where they can be transitioned into a suitable potting mix of your choice.
With established roots and several leaves already developed, we anticipate exciting growth as these plants settle into their new growing medium and conditions. As with all young Anthuriums, growth rates and the development of individual traits will depend on their environment and care.
Please note that these are young seedlings, and their appearance will continue to evolve as they mature.
