HappiestPlants.com Return Policy

At HappiestPlants.com, we are committed to our customers' satisfaction and the health of every plant we ship. We understand that sometimes, things don't work out. Here is our return policy:

7-Day Return Period

You may return most items sold by HappiestPlants.com within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item - note plant size may vary between each batches so no size related queries are eligible).

Plant Returns
Due to the nature of live plants, we can only accept returns on plants if they are in their original condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns on plants that have been transplanted or otherwise altered from their original state.

If you receive a plant that is damaged or not in good health, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the plant, so we can assess the situation and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Non-Plant Item Returns
Non-plant items must be returned in new and unused condition, with all original packaging and accessories. If items are returned used or missing parts, a partial refund may be issued.

How to Return an Item
1. Contact our Customer Service team via email at help@happiestplants.com to initiate a return.
2. Include your order number and the reason for the return.
3. See the instructions on how to send the items back to us.

  • Return using similar quality packaging to that in which you received the goods.
  • Enclose order details e.g. a copy of the invoice/receipt sent with your order.
  • Obtain a certificate of posting. These are free at Post Offices.
  • Goods should arrive with us in the same condition they arrived with you. You are responsible for them from receipt to their return to us, so you must take reasonable care of them. We have a right of action against customers for any breach of their statutory duty to take reasonable care. Plants are perishable goods so they should be returned to us within the same time period as we sent them to you e.g. if we sent them on an overnight carrier they should be returned to us using an overnight service. Products may be tested before returning.
  • Any refund offered will be for the cost of the goods as sold to you and the original delivery cost from us to you. It does not include the cost of you returning the goods to us, that cost must be borne by you, unless the goods are substitutes, in poor condition or don’t comply with the contract of sale.

4. Once we receive and process your return, we will issue a refund to your original method of payment within 7 business days.

Exceptions
Some items may not be returnable or may have a different return period. These exceptions include any tissue culture plants, seedlings (under 6 months old), any plants from the rehab list, etc.

Holiday Returns
For products purchased between December 10 and December 25, the return period is extended to January 14 of the following year to accommodate holiday gift-giving.
