Introducing a highly anticipated cross combining the beautiful colour expression of Rosè Ember with a specially selected Ralph Lynam S1.

The seedlings are currently germinated and have developed their first leaf, with most already working on their second leaf. The size of the plant you receive will depend on when your order is placed, as the seedlings will continue growing.

Mother Plant

The mother plant is Anthurium Rosè Ember.

A hybrid of two DB plants, Rosè Ember carries tones reminiscent of Wonderboy A, with beautifully coloured emergents in a distinctive rose-pink shade.

One of its standout qualities is how well this colour holds as the leaf matures, maintaining its vibrancy far longer than typically seen in many hybrids.

A plant we particularly value for its strong colour expression, consistency, and beautiful emergent development.

Pollen Donor

The pollen donor is Anthurium Ralph Lynam S1.

This particular plant was acquired from Dwane during our trip to the USA. Dwane holds the original Ralph Lynam clone, which was acquired directly from Jay Vannini.

Our plant is a selfed seedling from that original clone.

We grew approximately 20 Ralph Lynam S1 seedlings, and this particular individual was selected by us to become part of our breeding programme.

One of the traits that particularly caught our attention is the development of a much flatter sinus on the newer leaves. The latest emergent, which is also shown in the album, gives a glimpse of how this characteristic is developing.

Expectations

This is a pairing we are very excited to watch develop.

Rosè Ember brings its strong rose-pink colour expression and colour retention, while the selected Ralph Lynam S1 brings its distinctive structure and increasingly flat sinus characteristics.

With both parents individually selected for breeding, we are expecting some very interesting expressions as these seedlings mature.
