Anthurium Portillae x Rotundatum (by Rory Antolak)

This exceptional hybrid was created by the legendary Rory Antolok and represents one of the most desirable selections from his batch. Only a handful of seedlings showed the flat top and sinus traits, and this particular plant was carefully selected for us by Rory himself.

Both the mother plant (Portillae) and pollen donor (Rotundatum) were collected from the wild, and a leaf from Rory’s original Rotundatum is shown in the pictures for reference. This plant offers a rare opportunity to own a hybrid that closely reflects how it might have appeared if the two species had naturally crossed in the wild.

The new emergent leaf has a minor cosmetic damage  from the import, but it is purely superficial and nothing to worry about – the plant is healthy, stable, and growing strongly.

In our opinion, Rory’s Rotundatum is among the finest in cultivation, with unmatched form and texture. We also have the original clone from Rory’s RA Rotundatum priced at £2000 - message us if you are interested.
