Mother Plant

The mother plant is Anthurium Rosè Ember, a hybrid of two DB plants.

Rosè Ember is known for its beautiful emergent colour, with rose-pink tones reminiscent of Wonderboy A. One of its standout qualities is how well this colour holds as the leaf matures, retaining its vibrancy for considerably longer than is typical of many hybrids.

Selected for its strong colour expression and consistency, Rosè Ember brings an exciting foundation to this cross, with the potential to produce seedlings with captivating emergent colours and distinctive foliage.

⸻

Pollen Donor

The pollen donor is Anthurium Dressleri, acquired as a mature mother plant at the Bangkok Plant Show.

Carefully selected from the many plants available at the show, this specimen stood out for its form, presence, and overall quality.

Dressleri is highly regarded by collectors for its bold structure, distinctive character, and striking foliage. Paired with the colourful Rosè Ember, it introduces another desirable genetic influence, making this a particularly interesting cross to grow and observe as the seedlings develop.
