Pitanga de Perdiz, scientifically identified as Eugenia Observa, is a relatively fast-growing shrubby bush or small tree that attains a modest height, typically found in the scrublands of central and southern Brazil. It is also known by the names Guamirim vermelho do cerrado and Guamirim de perdiz.
